Dear Brothers and Sisters
Welcome to this new segment on the KEM site. This is an avenue to ask questions on health issues and get honest advice from your fellow believers with medical knowledge.
We as Christians must not wallow in a state of ill health; we have been given the grace to be healed. There is no mystery to Good health, remember that GOD created Man&Woman in his own image therefore we are created perfect. The devil came and deceived Woman, then Man leading to imperfection in Man. Then came Sin along with strives, struggles, tribulations and diseases.
Jesus (beloved lamb of GOD) came and died for our sins, thus what was imperfect became PERFECT for all everlasting. The key to unlock the door to restoration lies in the WORD, “are any among you sick? Call together the church elders to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the LORD. Their prayer offered in FAITH will heal the sick, and the LORD will make them well. And anyone who has sinned will be forgiven”, James 5:14-15. Prayer offered in FAITH availed much.
As much as we strive to encourage our friends to take advantage of information and advice from this segment of the KEM site, we would also like to remind all that the Perfect healer is Christ and he encourages us to live a healthy life. “A healthy tree produces good fruit, and an unhealthy tree produces bad fruit”, Matt 7:17. Do not do things to defile your body, “or don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by GOD? You do not belong to yourself, for GOD bought you with a high price. So you must honour GOD with your body.”1Corinthians 6:19-20.
The previous paragraphs are sermon-like only to remind us that in as much as we put our faith in modern medicine, we should remember the True Healer and his expectation of us.
We shall endeavour to make the segment interactive and reader friendly. It would be concise, direct without medical jargons, in simple, easy to understand English. We encourage our brothers and sisters to send mails to ask about any medical subject of interest to the individual and others. We would discuss such hot topics without reference to the enquirer so as to guarantee confidentiality. We do not profess to know ALL things Medical, but we would research into the different subject matters before posting on the website. We hope to make it a monthly affair and gradually increase to fortnightly.
We do not want to overload you with information, but another segment in the pipeline is a counselling page on this site. KEM is ready to take back what the devil has stolen from Medway and beyond. This site is our avenue to the world at large, KEM is a Family centred Ministry and we aim to make the world at large ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY FOR CHRIST.
